<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting external defects of incoming lines, which reduces manpower for and improves efficiency of inspection work thereof, and improves safety of workers by eliminating the need for climbing up poles, and improves the detection accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The device for detecting external defects 20 comprises wheels 2 and 2 which move rotatively on the incoming line, motors 3 and 3 which drive the wheels 2 and 2, a water tank 6, and contacts A and B which slide, by contacting the incoming line to supply water in the water tank 6 to the incoming line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
