PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary bottle for cooling capable of readily cooling the beverage liquid in a PET bottle as well as adjusting taste and flavor or the like for drinker's preference. SOLUTION: This auxiliary bottle for cooling is provided with an opening port 5, which can be water-tightly connected to the port 4 of the PET bottle 1, at the center of the bottom part 3 which is formed into a substantially earthenware mortar so as to be fitted to the shoulder part 2 of the PET bottle 1. Thereby, the bottom part 3 which is formed into a substantially earthenware mortar shape of the auxiliary bottle A is fitted into the shoulder part 2 of the PET bottle 1, and the auxiliary bottle A is substantially integrally connected to the PET bottle 1, preventing the auxiliary bottle A from shaking in use. Furthermore, chipped ice 6 seasoned with taste and flavor in the auxiliary bottle A has an effect to change the beverage liquid in the PET bottle 1 to the cooled one for drinker's preference taste and flavor.
