PURPOSE: A recording/reproducing device, a reproduction processing method are provided to reproduce the first contents file if receiving channels of the first and second receiving processors are different, and to reproduce the second contents file if the receiving channels are the same, thereby reproducing a desired contents file when a user operates a desired reproducing function. CONSTITUTION: An MPEG decoder(5) decodes a reproduction data stream, and outputs decoded voice/image signals to a voice signal processing circuit(9) and an image signal processing circuit(11). An additional sound generation circuit(6) generates an operational sound or an additional sound, and outputs the generated sound to the voice processing circuit(9). An image decoder(8) reads image data, and converts the data into an image signal. The voice signal processing circuit(9) converts voice data, and outputs the converted voice data. The image signal processing circuit(11) converts the image data into analog data, and outputs the analog data to a connected display(12). |
