PURPOSE: A system and a method for informing a user of weather change on a real world in real-time using an avatar or an avatar item are provided to update/display the avatar/avatar item in an avatar space of a user by transferring a current weather state and a future weather forecast to the avatar/avatar item of the user. CONSTITUTION: A member management system(1) stores personal particulars registered to an Internet homepage selling a weather avatar, and past purchase/sale avatar information and current item information of a member. A weather information system(2) generates/stores weather forecast values based on weather data received from the outside, and stores weather codes classifying the weather forecast values. An avatar management system(3) consistently keeps/manages an avatar sale price, a user period, a weather update cycle, and a weather display region of each weather avatar. An avatar database stores(4) the weather avatar made by each weather code and an image of general avatars. A settlement system(5) makes the user pay the price by using a credit card, cash, electronic cash, or a mobile phone in case that the user requests purchase. |
