<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of accurately measuring time-series data of the position coordinates of a flying golf ball. <P>SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a first camera 1, a second camera 2 and a third camera 3. The golf ball B is photographed from the back side by the first camera 1, is photographed from the front side by the second camera 2 and is photographed from the oblique front side by the third camera 3. In the initial stage, the position coordinates (x, z) of the golf ball B is calculated by a method similar to triangulation method from the elevation angle of the golf ball B acquired by the first camera 1 and from the elevation angle of the golf ball B acquired by the second camera 2. In a range, where the moving direction of the golf ball B coincides with the optical axis of the second camera 2, the position coordinate (x, z) of the golf ball B is calculated by a method similar to the triangulation method from the elevation angle of the golf ball B acquired by the first camera 1 and from the elevation angle of the golf ball B acquired by the third camera 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
