<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleanerless system image forming apparatus capable of prolonging a durable life by preventing the occurrence of fogging, black stripes, soiling on the back and a negative/positive afterimage while suppressing the inversion of toner left after transfer. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 10 where an electrifying brush 14 for uniformly electrifying the surface of a photoreceptor 12, a developing unit 18 for developing an electrostatic latent image formed by exposing on the uniformly electrified surface of the photoreceptor 12 with the toner and forming a toner image, a transfer roller 20 for transferring the toner image on the photoreceptor 12 to a recording medium S, and an auxiliary electrifying member 22 for temporarily recovering the toner left on the photoreceptor 12 after the transfer process are arranged around the photoreceptor 12 along the rotating direction of the photoreceptor 12, the apparatus 10 is provided with a voltage control part 28 for controlling a voltage to be applied to the auxiliary electrifying member 22 in accordance with the variation of a developing condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
