PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head cap, a head cap pan, a suction unit and a liquid droplet delivery device which can receive suitably a functional liquid scattered out of a functional liquid container in the liquid droplet delivery device and to provide a method for manufacturing an electro-optical device, an electro-optical device and an electronic device. SOLUTION: This head cap includes an annular seal member 124 adhered to a nozzle surface 108 in the state including a nozzle 109 of a liquid droplet delivery head 91, a cap base 122 for fixing the seal member 124, and the functional liquid container 121a for receiving the functional liquid on a front surface of the cap base 112. A flange-like functional liquid receiver 125b for receiving the functional liquid scattered to an outside of the functional liquid container 121a is provided on a peripheral edge of the cap base 112.
