PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold release film which overcomes various points at issue caused by an oligomer formed at heating. SOLUTION: The mold release film is constituted by laminating a mold release layer at least on one side of a biaxially oriented polyester film comprising a polyester based on 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol being repeating units and having a melting point of 200°C or above and characterized in that the change quantity of a film haze value after heating at 150°C for one hour is 1% or below.
