PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soap box capable of efficiently draining and drying a soap cake, preventing the soap cake from melting due to moisture, preventing drips of the cake soap (soap liquid) or slime of the melted soap liquid with high viscosity, from flowing directly down to the tiled floor of a bathroom, and contributing to the prevention of having a person fall inside the bathroom due to the soap liquid. SOLUTION: The soap box consists of a lid and a tray. Notches for draining and ventilation are formed at regular intervals around the mouth of the lid. A flange is formed on the outer periphery of the tray, and projections and recesses for draining and ventilation are formed at regular intervals, on the base of the tray, and a hole is formed in each recess. When the soap box is used, the lid is reversed to be used as a tray by guiding the lid with the flange of the tray, without backlash in the front/rear or to the left/right.
