PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning apparatus with which a material to be cleaned is properly cleaned and recovered. SOLUTION: The cleaning apparatus 1 is equipped with a flow channel formation body 36 for forming a flow channel 35 for suspended dust recovery. A plurality of hole parts are formed at parts positioned underwater in a water reservoir 2 in the flow channel formation body 36. The cleaning apparatus is equipped with a suspended dust sinking nozzle pipe 45 for introducing suspended dust floating in the water reservoir 2 through the hole parts into the flow channel 35 for suspended dust recovery and a suspended dust feeding nozzle 47 for feeding the suspended dust to a suspended dust basket 8.
