PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of fixing the end plate of a rotary electric machine, which can suppress the breakage of mounting feet by relaxing the stress concentration in the mounting feet when fixing the end plate and a yoke, and a motor using the structure of fixing the end plate of the rotary electric machine. SOLUTION: Mounting feet are made integrally around the end plate 4. The mounting feet 5 are made, with the circumferential width of the end plate 4 fixed. A pair of caulking claws 6, which are positioned on both sides of each mounting foot 5 when the end plate 4 is set in the opening, are made in the opening of the bottomed cylindrical yoke. The peripheral circle of the end plate 4 including the mounting foot 5 and the peripheral circle of the yoke including the caulking claw 6 are concentric when the end plate 4 is set in the opening of the yoke. When load is added to the mounting foot 5 from both sides of the caulking claw 6, the mounting foot 5 and the caulking claw 6 are caulked with each other, receiving load in the vicinity of the base end 5b of the mounting foot 5.
