PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a polyester film excellent in offset printability, free from the occurrence of color drift in multi-color printing when printed and suitable for use in the application where there is need for the film to be subjected to boiling treatment or retort treatment for which the film is required to have toughness, pinhole resistance, flexing resistance, resistance to bag breakage by dropping, impact resistance, and the like, the application where the film is required to undergo thermoforming or vacuum forming and in the application where the film is used for packaging of moisture-containing food products, chemicals, or the like. SOLUTION: The polyester film is a film formed from a polyester-based resin composition produced by blending 10-90 wt% of (A) a polyethylene terephthalate-based resin and 90-10 wt% of (B) a polybutylene terephthalate-based resin and/or a polytrimethylene terephthalate-based resin, wherein the film has a haze of 0.001-7 % and an absolute value of the difference in heat shrinkage percentage between the lengthwise direction and the longitudinal direction of 1.1 % or less.
