PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately measure the amount of leak between adjacent pixels in order to eliminate a right/left level difference in CCD where a picture is divided into the right and the left at a center to be separately read. SOLUTION: A detection apparatus is provided with a three color light emitting means emitting light in three colors, an effective pixel output integration means integrating picture signals in an imaging region in a three color (filter) pixel unit, and a dummy output integration means integrating the picture signal in a dummy region adjacent to the imaging region. The three color light emitting means emits light so that outputs of the effective pixel output integration means become the same levels in a three color pixel unit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
