PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple dwelling building, in which an exclusively possessed area of a dwelling unit on an upper floor is set larger than that on a lower floor. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the high-rise or super high-rise multiple dwelling building, the dwelling unit 4 on the upper floor has an outer balcony 8 which overhangs to the outside of peripheral columns 5 and peripheral beams 6, and the dwelling unit on the floor lower than the upper-floor dwelling unit, has an inner balcony 7 which is located inside the peripheral columns 5 and the peripheral beams 6. The peripheral beam 6 on the upper floor on which the outer balcony 8 is mounted is a normal beam 6b, and the peripheral beam 6 on the story, on which the inner balcony 7 is mounted, is an intermediate beam 6a or a reversed beam. Further the normal beam 6b as the peripheral beam on the higher floor on which the outer balcony is mounted, is formed of a flat beam. Then a height of the floor located on a boundary between the floors, on which the inner balcony is mounted and the floor on which the outer balcony is mounted, is set larger than the height of the lower floors.
