A pushing system for feeding measuring rings is located inside the measuring chamber and comprises a slide(11), guide rods(12) and a locking system(14). The slide(11) has a holding surface for a measuring ring, a rear wall(16) and a bore into which a pin of the measuring ring is inserted. Movement of the slide can be by electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic drive units.
