The transporting container of corrugated cardboard, cardboard or other foldable material has bottom flaps (4,5) from which are stamped out four overhanging fastening tabs (11-14) which clamp under the outer boards of a pallet. With an inclination of 80 degrees of the container to the pallet the container can neither slip off nor creates a permanent connection. Fastening materials such as nails, clamps, adhesives and suchlike can be dispensed with.
