<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery at least containing Ni and Mn as transition metal, using a lithium-transition metal complex oxide having a laminar structure as a positive electrode activator, restrained from the lowering of discharging voltage and capacity in a charge and discharge cycle, with improved cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A substance, composed of the lithium-transition metal complex oxide having a laminar structure and containing at least Ni and Mn as transition metal, in which zirconium is further contained, is used as the positive electrode activator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
