<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a device and a system for personal authentication that are installed in communication terminal equipment such as a camera cellphone to perform personal authentication only within the equipment to keep individual information and privacy information from being disclosed, thus contributing to constructing a sound information society. <P>SOLUTION: A camera cellphone 200 with a camera 108 and an imaging flash device 109 has an authentication part tag 300 with an original image recording device 301, an authentication face image data processing part 302, an image collation device 305, a collation determination result storage device 306, and a collation determination result adding/sending device 307. The authentication face image data processing part 302 has an animation recording device 303 and a still image selection device 304. The original image recording device 301 records one's own face image that the owner or exclusive possessor of the camera cell phone first took upon coming to possess the cell phone.
