<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which enables exposure light from an LPH to form an image on a surface of a photoreceptor drum with a high degree of accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus is equipped with the LED print head (LPH) 12 for exposing the photoreceptor drum 10 to light. In the LPH 12, the arranging direction of a light-emitting diode array (LED array) 41 is set on the basis of a predetermined reference surface 63; the arranging direction of a Selfoc lens array (SLA) 42 is set on the basis of the reference surface 63; a position in the direction of an optical axis is set depending on a TC length; and a position of the LPH 12 with respect to the photoreceptor drum 10 is set on the basis of the reference surface 63. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
