<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pile up paper sheets in a device based on detection output of one paper detection means and convey a plurality of paper sheets again by overlapping them. <P>SOLUTION: A paper aftertreatment device PD has a conveyance passage D for guiding a paper sheet onto a staple processing tray F and conveyance means R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 capable of letting a paper sheet to be conveyed flow reversely to perform aftertreatment of the paper sheet after forming image by staple. The conveyance passage D determines reconveyance start timing of paper sheet based on paper tip detection by a branched claw 17 guiding a paper sheet into a prestack passage E when letting the paper sheet flow reversely and by an inlet sensor 301 mounted upstream more than the claw 17, and determines timing for letting the paper sheet to be conveyed flow reversely based on paper rear end detection to guide the paper sheet into the prestack passage E for control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
