摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a highly-reliable and robust system which increases the signal intensity of an FBG sensor, improves the S/N, and will not influence the signal of other FBG sensors, even if disconnection or breakage of a connection optical fiber or the like occurs, in an FBG sensing system. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises an optical coupler having a first port and a second port on one end side, and a third port and a fourth port on the other end side. The system is configured, such that an optical fiber which derives an output light of or a broad band light source or a wave length variable light source is connected to the first port, the third and fourth port are connected via a looped optical fiber, the FGB sensor is arranged inside the loop-shape optical fiber, and the second port is used as a signal detection port. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
