PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of user authentication for accessing a URL specified by an identification code and carrying out a series of operation until user authentication without putting a burden of inputting operation etc. on a user by using a terminal device such as a cellular phone capable of reading the identification code such as a two-dimensional code. SOLUTION: The URL of a file for carrying out authentication operation and identification information for authenticating the user are specified with the identification code distributed to the user.
