PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase work efficiency by preventing breakage caused by shocks during transportation or installation with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A disk array device 2 is provided with a housing 10 for housing a disk array 15, a truck 11 for mounting the housing 10, a buffer material 70 arranged between the housing 10 and the truck 11 to absorb shocks applied to the housing 10, and a hexagon head bolt 73 and a nut 70 for interconnecting the housing 10 and the truck 11 so as to move the housing 10 up and down on the truck 11 while elongating/contracting the buffer material 70. When shocks or vibration is applied to the buffer material 70, the buffer material 70 is compressed to be deformed in the shock or vibration application direction, and the hexagon head bolt 73 is moved along insertion holes 74, 78. The inner wall surface of the housing 10 forming a recess 80 is moved along the side plate of the truck 11, and the housing 10 is returned to a normal state by the restoring force of the buffer material 70.
