PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grade separation construction method for shortening construction term and a period of traffic interruption time greatly. SOLUTION: This method comprises a bridge pier construction process for constructing a foundation for a bridge pier and the bridge pier, a main beam assembly process for assembling a main beam segment in a central span part, a gantry frame assembly process for pulling up a main beam for assembling a gantry frame for pulling up the main beam, a pulling-out process for pulling out the assembled main beam to a crossing road, a pulling-up process for pulling up the main beam by a jack attached to the gantry frame for pulling up the main beam, a lateral beam pulling-up process for pulling up a bridge pier lateral beam, a connection process for connecting the bridge pier lateral beam with the bridge pier to form the gantry bridge pier, and a bridging process for bridging the main beam on the gantry bridge pier.
