METHOD FOR PROCESSING CRYSTALLINE ALKALI METAL SILICATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for controlling the generation of a needle crystal by the decomposition of a crystalline alkali metal silicate, the crystalline alkali metal silicate processed by the method and a detergent composition containing the crystalline alkali metal silicate and having good preservation stability. SOLUTION: (A) The crystalline alkali metal silicate obtained by the method and (B) water are mixed and the mixing ratio of (B) to (A) by weight is 0.005-0.250. A particle growing degree by mixing is regulated to 1.5 or less. The detergent composition contains at least a kind of crystalline alkali metal silicates obtained by the processing method.
