PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system in an elevator car chamber capable of preventing the formation of slack and wrinkle in a sheet and the formation of interference streak due to close adhesion of the sheet and a lighting plate and having excellent design property. SOLUTION: The sheet provided below a slight source provided on a ceiling in the elevator car chamber with the purpose of coloring or diffusing light emitted from the light source or displaying characters and drawing is provided at a position where it opposes to the lighting plate across a clearance, and tension is applied to it by a tension providing part provided in its one end part.
