PURPOSE: A method for controlling power of a mobile communication terminal is provided to automatically control high-quality items, back light brightness, and display module off-time according to an item selected by a user, thereby reducing power consumption as extending a battery life. CONSTITUTION: A user sets high-quality items on terminal menus(S10). If predetermined data is inputted by the user(S20), an MSM receives the data to decide a kind of the received data(S30). If the data is for the high-quality items(S40), a display module controller outputs a back light brightness control signal to a display module, so that the displayed data can be seen with high-quality back light brightness(S50). While performing the high-quality items, the display module are always turned on without being turned off(S60). |
