PURPOSE: A plasma display device is provided to increase the strength of a chassis base by arranging a lightweight reinforcement member on the chassis base. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display device comprises a chassis base; a plasma display panel attached to the chassis base; and a reinforcement member(103) arranged on the chassis base so as to increase the strength of the chassis base. The reinforcement member has a hollow structure, and is disposed along the outer periphery of the chassis base. The reinforcement member includes a main frame having a square C-shaped cross section; and coupling frames(107a,107b) arranged along the opening side edge of the main frame.
