METHOD FOR NOTIFYING CALL CONNECTION OF A MOBILE TERMINAL, PARTICULARLY FOR INFORMING A USER OF CALL CONNECTION BY DISCRIMINATING A CALL CONNECTION TONE AND AN ACTUAL CALL CONNECTION

PURPOSE: A method for notifying call connection of a mobile terminal is provided to notify a user when a call is actually connected so that the user does not need to put the ear to a speaker while waiting for call connection. CONSTITUTION: When a caller(200) attempts a call, a controller originates a voice call to a base station(300)(203). The controller outputs dial information through an access channel and a signal of the access channel is converted into an RF signal through an RF unit and then outputted to the base station(300)(204). The base station(300) generates a message including information on the caller(200) and a callee(400) and transmits it to the callee(400)(205). The base station transmits a signal message for turning on an alarm tone to the caller(200)(206). With a call connection tone being outputted to the caller(200), when the callee(400) inputs a call key(208), the base station(300) is informed that call is connected with the callee(209). When the call is connected with the callee, the base station(300) transmits a signal message for turning off the alarm tone of the caller(200) to the caller(200)(210).
