PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to arrange a plurality of electrodeless bulbs in a resonator and selectively emitting light through the use of an impedance stud. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting device comprises a resonator(50), an electrodeless bulb(160), and an impedance stud(167). The resonator is coupled to a waveguide(40) for guiding a microwave so as to prevent a leakage of microwave. The electrodeless bulb is arranged in the resonator, and has a plurality of bulbs(162) for emitting different light. The impedance stud is arranged in the resonator such that light is selectively emitted from the bulbs by varying the position of the electric field generated by the microwave.
