PURPOSE: A welder-inside fixed position control device of continuous line steel sheets is provided to automatically execute correction followed by separation of a welder of steel sheets at quick speed. CONSTITUTION: A welder-inside fixed position control device of continuous line steel sheets comprises a steel sheet detection part(17) installed to the outgoing side of a welder(10) apart from a fixed position(11) for fixing the rear end of a preloaded steel sheet(4) in the welder at a predetermined distance(L) to detect whether the rear end of the preloaded steel sheet passes through the outgoing side of the welder; a driving motor(16) driving bridle rolls(14) moving the preloaded steel sheet forward and backward; a rotation frequency detection part(15) connected to the driving motor to detect the rotation frequency of the driving motor; a motor control part(32) controlling the driving of the driving motor; a distance calculation part(34) calculating the distance to the rear end of the preloaded steel sheet from the outgoing side position of the welder by utilizing the rotation frequency of the driving motor; and a main control part(36) outputting a signal for the stop of the driving motor to stop the preloaded steel sheet if a welder-outgoing side passing signal of the rear end of the preloaded steel sheet is received from the steel detection part, calculating the distance to the fixed position in the welder from the rear end of the preloaded steel sheet by utilizing the stop distance of the steel sheet calculated from the distance calculation part after stop of the preloaded steel sheet, and outputting a signal for backward driving of the driving motor to the motor control part to make the rear end of the preloaded steel sheet move backward to the fixed position in the welder.
