<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, a method and a program for providing points in such a way that a point is generated if an article purchased by a customer and articles purchased by the same customer in the past meet predetermined conditions. <P>SOLUTION: A register 300 specifies a customer and an article 500 purchased by the customer. A point management server 100 stores a table of stamp-sheet information that specifies the articles 500 purchased by the customer in the past. When information on the customer and the article 500 purchased by the customer is inputted to the table of the stamp sheet information, the point management server 100 determines whether or not the table meets the point conditions for providing points to a point card 400; if the conditions are met, the register 300 is requested to provide points to the point card 400. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
