PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector small in size and simple in structure.

SOLUTION: A connector is used for connecting a connection object 11 having a wiring pattern 13 extending from wiring parts 12 and 14 through protruding parts 12a and 12b each protruding on one side thereof. In the connector, a housing 20 is provided with side parts 22a and 22b on the sides of a main body part 21 having a receiving surface for receiving the wiring parts. The side parts have receiving grooves 24a and 24b for receiving the protruding parts of the connection object. Contacts 30 are held by the side parts and come into contact with the wiring pattern of the protruding parts.
