<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a goods collection system that improves working efficiency in goods inspections and has flexibility in layout of goods to be arranged. <P>SOLUTION: This goods collection system comprises a pick-up number instructing means 11 provided in a goods stock section for instructing the number of goods to be picked up, a temporary table on which the goods are temporarily placed, a weighting means for measuring the weight of the goods on the temporary table, a storing means that stores unit weight of the goods on an item basis, and an inspecting means 4 that, when any of goods are picked up from the goods stock section and placed on the temporary table, calculates the number of goods on the temporary table based on the total weight of the goods weighed by the weighing means and the unit weight of the goods read form the storing means 26 and compares the number of goods on the temporary table with the number instructed by the pick-up number instructing means 11. The item identifying means 13 is provided for identifying the item of the goods picked up from the goods stock section and placed on the temporary table.
