PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printer which obtains good printing results. SOLUTION: The ink jet printer comprises a first ink head for jetting white ink from ink-jet nozzles, a light irradiation means, and a second ink head for jetting ink of a color different from white from ink-jet nozzles. The first ink head is arranged to be located at the most leading end side in an advancement direction at the time of moving over a medium. The light irradiation means is arranged adjacent to the first ink head to be located in the latter stage of the first ink head in the advancing direction.
