PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thickness of a recording/reproducing device to be loaded. SOLUTION: In a disk cartridge comprising a cartridge body 5 capable of storing an optical disk 2 so as to rotate it and forming a head part aperture part 13 for allowing a part of the optical disk 2 to face the outside over inner and outer peripheries and a shutter member 15 movably attached to the cartridge body 5 to open/close the head part aperture part 13, a buttomed recessed part 31 into which a part of a head part on the recording/reproducing device side is allowed to enter is formed continuously to the head part aperture part 13 in an area opposed to an area in which the shutter member 15 is moved through the head part aperture part 13 on the surface side on which the shutter member 15 of the cartridge body 5 is slid.
