PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption, to miniaturize a device, and to reduce a manufacturing cost by solving such a problem that a power source of an AV storage disk array device for home use having feature in which access is not performed simultaneously except a limited region because the power source becomes a large type to supply power at the time of peak in conventional design. SOLUTION: Immediate stop of the rotation of a hard disk for which access is finished, turning off of a power source, or the limit of the number of output is performed depending on the number of accessed disks. Therefore, as the number of hard disks operated simultaneously is limited, design performance of the power source can be suppressed lowly, consequently miniaturizing a case and reducing power consumption can be realized.
