PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an achievement management support system capable of automatically constructing and using a knowledge dictionary inherent to the system. SOLUTION: When a search query sentence, "CL13 freeze" is inputted, S601, S602, or S604 is not execute, and a character string, "CL13 freeze" is acquired as the search query sentence in an S606 or S608. Then, the data table of an index DB is referred to, and whether or not a matched character string matched with a significant word W stored in an index DB is included in the whole part or one part of "CL13 freeze" is decided in a S607 or S609. When it is decided that the matched character string is included, the matched character string is segmented as a search key. Then, search is executed by using the search key.
