PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-tank type pressure proof test apparatus for a high-pressure gas container which performs measurement with high precision by eliminating the influence of the amount of water leaking from a pressure pump. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises: a water injection metal part 11 attached to a cap 2 of a high-pressure container 1; a pressureproof test metal part 31 attached to the cap 2 of the container 1 filled with water; a constant volume tank 32; a pressure line 50 having a pressure pump 34 which injects the water in the constant volume tank 32 into the container 1 through an inlet 35 provided in the pressureproof test metal part 31; a return line 51 which returns the injected water in the container 1 to the constant volume tank 32 through an outlet 36, provided in the pressureproof test metal part 31, and a discharge valve 52 connected to the outlet 36 after the injection process by the pressure pump 34 and a subsequent settling process; and an electronic balance 33 which measures the weight of the water in the constant volume tank 32.
