PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing of a long service life by controlling the generation of edge load in the roller bearing. SOLUTION: A recessed part 12c is formed on an end face 12b of a roller 12 to reduce the radial rigidity of an end part of the roller 12 and to control the edge load generated on the end part of the roller 12.
