摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cooling design for utilizing available cooling air more effectively and efficiently. SOLUTION: A turbine blade 27 comprises an internal cavity 32 into which cooling air is flowable, an external wall 24, and first, second and third cooling circuits 22 embedded in the wall. The cooling circuits 22 include inlets for connecting the respective cooling circuits 22 to the cavity 32 to provide passages for cooling air flowing into the respective circuits. The cooling circuits 22 also include outlet apertures to provide passages for the cooling air flowing out of the respective cooling circuits.
