PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crane having a telescopic or bendable jib and capable of preventing a cargo from moving vertically even when extending and pulling in the jib. SOLUTION: This crane 1 has the telescopic, in particular, bendable jib 2, a wire rope winch 3, a cargo hoisting means 5 arranged at a tip of the jib, for example, a guide roller 4 for winding rope provided with a hook, and a controller for synchronizing rotation movement of the wire rope winch with extension or bending movement of the jib.
