PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably operate a solenoid while sufficiently miniaturizing a pressure valve 8 compared with a conventional one and to appropriately adjust the pressure inside an inner pot 3 by the pressure valve 8. SOLUTION: This pressure valve for a pressure rice cooker is provided with a support member 10 provided in a heat radiator 6 and having a vent hole 9, a cover 11 provided on the support member 10, a spherical body 12 mounted on the support member 10 in the cover 11 and closing the vent hole 9, and the solenoid 13 pushing the spherical body 12 from the side and opening the vent hole 9.
