PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mulch fabric-laying machine capable of efficiently laying a mulch fabric made of fabric such as nonwoven fabric on a paddy field surface. SOLUTION: In the mulch fabric-laying machine, a fabric roll-supporting apparatus 2 rotatably supporting both ends of a core rod S inserted into the center of fabric roll R obtained by rolling the mulch fabric M made of nonwoven fabric made of nonwoven fabric from right and left directions is liftably attached through a lifting and lowering apparatus 3 to the rear of of a traveling vehicle body 1 and the fabric roll R is liftably installed and the fabric roll R is installed liftably in a state in which the lower end part is grounded on a paddy field surface and in a state in which the lower end part is floated from paddy field surface and the fabric roll R is advanced and travelled in a state grounded on the paddy field surface to roll the fabric roll R. Thereby, a mulch fabric M is fed out from the circumferential side of the fabric roll R to the rear of a machine body to lay the mulch fabric on the paddy field surface.
