GROWING OF CLEAN APPLES/PEARS BY USING PLASTIC BAG MADE OF SYNTHETIC RESIN HAVING DEW-CONDENSATION PREVENTING PROPERTIES

PURPOSE: A method of growing clean apples/pears by using a plastic bag made of synthetic resin having dew-condensation preventing properties is provided. It prevents apples/pears from the damage by birds, hail and sunburn and therefore produces apples/pears having high commercial value. CONSTITUTION: The apples/pears-growing method consists of: covering a plastic bag to the stem when they reach tennis ball size; and harvesting apples/pears 30 to 50 days after covering with the plastic bag. The plastic bag comprises a body with an envelope shape and a fixing means formed at the upper part of the body to hang on the stem and is opened in all or part to allow good air circulation. The plastic bag has a size of 0.04 to 0.08mm in thickness, 12 to 18cm in width and 12 to 20cm in length and consists of 60 to 85% by weight of synthetic resin with a melt index of 3 to 10g/min at 185deg.C, 1 to 25% by weight of an antifogging agent, 1 to 15% by weight of an antistatic agent and 1 to 10% by weight of white carbon.
