摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for self-phase control in an amplifier with a stimulated brillouin scattering phase conjugate mirror are provided to simplify overall structure and suppress limitation on the number of split light by using recursive laser beams on respective media. CONSTITUTION: A laser beam(60) is incident on a stimulated brillouin scattering phase conjugate mirror(63,73). A reflective member is implemented on an arbitrary position behind the phase conjugate mirror. A micro-actuator finely drives the reflective member. The micro-actuator controls the distance between the reflective member and the phase conjugate mirror to adjust the position of scattering in the phase conjugate mirror. The phase of the laser beam is controlled by adjusting the position of scattering.
