<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for outputting the sound guidance of a trouble cancel operation to be performed by a user in proper timing corresponding to the kinds of trouble which occurs or the difficulty level of the trouble cancel operation, etc., when the trouble such as paper clogging or a communication error occurs. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a storage means for storing a setting time for every kind of trouble; a detection means for detecting the occurrence of the trouble; an output means for outputting the sound guidance of the trouble cancel operation after the setting time elapses, which is previously stored in the storage means while making correspondence to the kind of the trouble after the detection means detects the occurrence of the trouble; and a setting time change means for changing the setting time stored in the storage means for every kind of trouble. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
