<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus convenient for a user to use. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus receives specification for scanning documents and specification on the destination to transmit image related information including a thumbnail image (S10), and accumulates scanned image data (S20). It further creates the image related information including the thumbnail image from the image data, and transmits to a PC of the specified destination (S30). The PC displays the thumbnail image (S35), and instructs the output format of the image data to the image forming device by the use of the thumbnail image (S55).
