<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission method identifying device and a method for automatically identifying a first modulation system for performing transmission by using a plurality of bands obtained by dividing a certain occupancy bandwidth and a second modulation system for performing transmission in the occupancy bandwidth. <P>SOLUTION: This transmission method identifying device is provided with a signal transmitting means for transmitting a first guard interval frequency between respective bands of the first modulation system to opposite communication equipment, a signal detecting means for detecting a second guard interval frequency transmitted from the opposite communication equipment, and a synchronization establishing means for exchanging synchronizing signals with the first guard interval frequency and the second guard interval frequency as a pair to establish synchronization with the opposite communication equipment when the signal detecting means detects a guard interval frequency from the opposite communication equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
