<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coagulotomy instrument which facilitates the judgment of whether the biological tissue is grasped exactly or not. <P>SOLUTION: The instrument has a grasping part 8 which is opened or closed to grasp the biological tissue, an operation part for opening or closing the grasping part 8 and a treatment part which is provided on the grasping part 8 and carries out the coagulotomy of the biological tissue grasped with the coagulotomy instrument.
